Review, practice, and stay on top of your skills with NOLS Wilderness Medicine's Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course! This scenario-based approach to recertification provides you the opportunity to test your skills against realistic situations.

You'll practice and relearn wilderness medicine protocols, review evacuation and decision-making guidelines, and receive the latest updates in wilderness medicine over the course.

On Hybrid courses, pre-work allows you to review the curriculum at your own pace, and focus on the hands-on element during your two days on course. You'll just need to complete all online components, including a written exam, prior to the course.

The class will be from 8 am-5 pm each day with 1 hour for lunch from around noon-1 pm.

We will have a CPR Refresher course at 5:30 pm on the first day of each course.

Travel

The Community Campus is located in Hailey, 10 miles south of Sun Valley, Idaho. Please park in the main lot and turn right when you enter the building to find the classoom.

Meals & Lodging

Students are required to arrange all lodging and food. Many food and lodging options are available in Hailey, the nearest camping in West on Deer Creek Road on the North side of Hailey.
