IRT offers NOLS Wilderness Medicine courses throughout the year. Courses include Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, and WFR Recertification courses open to the public or for private groups.
Idaho Rescue Training is based out of Ketchum, Idaho offering public and custom courses for lay responders. Founded in 2013, to serve the Wood River and Sawtooth Valleys helping individuals and organizations be prepared to effectively serve their clients. We have now expanded to offer courses in Idaho, Utah, and Nepal.
Our offerings are centered around NOLS Wilderness Medicine, AHA, and Red Cross classes while offerings custom courses to meet specific needs. Idaho Rescue Training is the largest provider of Wilderness Medicine Courses in the state of Idaho!
Lead Instructor, Paul Holle, has been teaching lay responder emergency medicine since 2003 and for the NOLS Wilderness Medicine since 2011, where he now works as a Senior Instructor.
Paul is an Idaho and NR EMT-Basic and NOLS Wilderness Medicine W-EMT.
