NEPALI SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Please complete the form below to apply for a scholarship to the Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professional course in April 2024.  You will be contacted via email after your application!  You must reply to the approval email to continue your registration.

There is a limit of 10 spaces available for the scholarship.  Payment is required to reserve your spot and will be arranged with Sherpa Legends PVT Ltd in Nepal, our trek provider.

This is not a full scholarship.  The scholarship is a cost reduction in partnership with Himayalan Medics and Sherpa Legends.  The traditional cost of the trip with logistics is over Rs. 7 Lahk.

If approved, your course cost will be Rs. 80000.

 

Students will also need to pay for the cost of logistics (flights, meals, housing, etc), estimated to be Rs. 30000 for return flights out of KTM or Ramechhap and Rs. 5000-8000 per day on trail.  Sherpa Legends will book your flight.  Rescue Insurance is also required.

Students may join all or part of the trek from 11-30 April.  Students are required to be present for class in Khumjung & Phortse from 15-20 April 2024.
